From Garage Startup to India's Gaming Powerhouse
Play Champion began as a passion project by three college friends in Bangalore who were frustrated by the lack of organized competitive gaming platforms in India. What started as small Valorant tournaments among friends quickly grew into something much bigger.
In 2021, we organized our first national BGMI tournament with a prize pool of ₹50,000. The response was overwhelming, with over 500 teams participating from across India. That success showed us the massive untapped potential of Indian gaming talent.
Today, we've grown into India's largest gaming tournament platform, having distributed over ₹5 crore in prize money to Indian gamers and hosted tournaments in 15+ cities across the country.
